The annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA) attracted more than 200 entries this year. Held in conjunction with HBA Global Expo and sponsored by Beauty Packaging and Happi magazines, the IPDA include finalists across nine categories—Cosmetics Mass, Cosmetics Prestige, Fragrance Mass, Fragrance Prestige, Personal Care Mass, Personal Care Prestige, Skin Care Mass, Skin Care Prestige and Green Packaging. IPDA’s committee of 100 industry executives, designers, suppliers and media reviewed all entries and selected finalists in each category. The finalists were presented to a panel of judges made up of the heads of design groups from major marketing companies, who then selected category leaders and a grand award recipient. Winners will be announced at HBA’s Industry Awards dinner on Sept. 9. For information regarding the HBA Industry Awards, visit the HBA website, www.hbaexpo.com. On the following pages is a look at the finalists in each of the nine categories along with information regarding the suppliers of various aspects of each package.
